PanaLog Connection:

• A PanaLog SMDR cable kit is included for products supporting a serial cable interface, and is already assembled for fast plug-in connection. Our cable kits will accommodate Panasonic KX-TD, KX-TA, KX-TDA, KX-TDE, KX-NCP and KX-TAW telephone systems. The PanaLog SMDR Cable Kit provides a connection between your Panasonic Telephone System RS232 Port and (1) PC Com Port. This is how calls are transferred to your PC for systems utilizing the RS232 port. A user, typically setup with full admin permissions for proper software program function, should maintain a live connection between the telephone system and PC to insure all calls are transferred from the telephone system to a consumer PC. If there is no connection between the telephone system and PC, calls can not be transferred or collected.

• PanaLog Software has the capability to work off a remote computer within the office. Extend your connection 300ft using a CAT5 data cable and plug it into the PanaLog adaptors! Your computer does not have to be located next to your telephone system, but the path is still from the RS232 SMDR port to (1) distant PC Com Port (if using a serial cable connection). You can collect telephone data while sitting at your desk.
